Air

Whether traveling for business or pleasure or getting your products to your customers fast or getting your materials on demand you will find no better solution for your air transportation needs. Centrally located between the Louisville International Airport (90 miles to the north) and the Nashville International Airport (95-miles to the south) both accessed via I-65, you will get where you need to go fast.

When it comes to cargo, Kentucky has three global shipping hubs. The UPS World Port in Louisville, DHL Americas hub in Northern Kentucky and the Amazon Prime global port in Northern Kentucky and several large FedEx ground hubs throughout the state.

For local service, Moore Field is located in the northern part of Glasgow along KY 90. The airport encompasses 239 acres. The airport is currently used for a mixture of recreational, industrial and medical purposes. The airport has one paved runway 5,301 feet long by 100 feet wide with a connecting parallel taxiway 5,000 feet long which connects to the aircraft parking apron. There is a 2,500 square foot administration building with pilot lounge, conference room and an airport administrative office. A Fixed Base Operator is located at the airport which offers the following services: Fuel sales (Avgas and Jet A); aircraft repair and service; aircraft rental; automobile rental, flight instructions; and tie downs and hanger rental.
